REVEALED: Why SARS, Soldiers Attached To Rotimi Amaechi Attacked Gov Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Saturday, Nov 11, 2017 escaped assassination as Special Anti-robbery Squad Operatives and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in the motorcade of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi attacked his convoy in Port Harcourt.
It has been gathered that the attack may not be unconnected to Wike’s recent criticism of the Buhari’s regime at the Chatam House, London. Wike had called on international community to come to the rescue of democracy in Nigeria, saying that General Buhari and his team are hellbent on destroying democracy. The criticism did not go down well with the federal government, and plot may have been hatched out to eliminate him, using Rotimi Amaechi and his hitmen within the Police and the military.
The governor who was on project inspection was attacked at Nwanja Junction on Trans-Amadi industrial layout road, Port Harcourt.

The SARs Personnel and Soldiers in the Minister's convoy hit down the Governor's Escort Rider and attacked the policemen in the pilot car.
Mr Debewari , Aide -De- Camp, to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, supervised the attack, which included damage of cameras held by journalists.

Also part of the attack, was the Commander of tye federal SARS in Rivers state,, Mr Akin Fakorede who received the Minister of Transportation at the Port Harcourt International Airport and accompanied him on his trip.
After the attack, the Rivers State Governor continued with his inspection of Projects as no casuality was recorded.
